You'll need to watch episode 5 of my Promo training course to fully understand this section. Suffice to say, angles are what I call the ideas that drive many of today's TV promos.

Some people call these ideas: "hooks".
And some might call them what they mostly are: "clichés"

You are supposed to collect and catalog angles for yourself, in your own language because you will learn more that way.

But in spite of this, I have decided to put some of the basics here.
